The image of the false man is Adam, the true man is Christ--which image are you reflecting? He adopted us out of the slavery of sin in the flesh into the sonship of the Spirit, bringing us into the family of God, calling us BROTHER (Romans 8:29). Jesus called us out of lies into truth, out of life as idolaters and bondage into joy as worshipers in freedom. Are we growing as slaves or as sons? In Adam's lineage of sin or Christ's rebirthing lineage of imputed righteousness in the Spirit, in a new identity?
